GIRARD
Oct. 19
Theft: A Lawrence Avenue man reported his car broken into and a compact-disc player/stereo and 10 to 20 CDs removed.
Arrest: Police arrested a 14-year-old Girard boy on a criminal trespass charge after a Patricia Drive woman said she saw someone inside a carport tampering with several cars.
Burglary: A woman in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue reported someone broke into her father's former State Street residence and removed the front door.
Recovered property: A 1988 Ford F-150 truck stolen in the 200 block of Verona Street was recovered near Amherst Avenue.
Theft/drugs: Police arrested a Shannon Road man on charges of theft and possession of drug abuse instruments after items were stolen from Rite Aid Pharmacy, 713 N. State St. Officers say they found in his possession a suspected crack pipe.
Unauthorized use of a vehicle: A man in the 2400 block of Northview Drive alleged a friend took his 1995 Toyota without permission. The vehicle was later returned.
Breaking and entering/theft: Someone broke into a garage in the 1100 block of Tod Avenue by kicking in the main door. A 2004 all-terrain vehicle was missing.
Oct. 22
Domestic violence: Police arrested a Girard girl on charges of domestic violence and underage consumption of alcohol after a family member alleged she attacked him as he tried to intervene during a fight. The man had scratches on his arms and neck.
LIBERTY
Oct. 12
Theft: A 22-year-old Girard man was charged with theft after three cases of vegetable oil, one gallon of dressing, a bag of muffins and a bag of chicken nugget items were stolen from a McDonald's restaurant, 3630 Belmont Ave.
Oct. 14
Drugs: After working undercover, police arrested three Youngstown women, 37, 33 and 32, at the American Inn, 1600 Motor Inn Drive, on various drug charges. One woman was charged with trafficking in drugs, receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia; another woman face a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia; and the third woman was charged with trafficking in drugs.
Recovered property: Police found a $100 cash register in a parking lot in the 10 block of Colonial Drive.
Recovered property: A license plate stolen off a vehicle was found on the road near Belmont Avenue and Goldie Road.
Theft/criminal damage: A man and his girlfriend alleged his former girlfriend destroyed living room furniture, TVs and other pieces of property at his residence in the 3400 block of Breeze Knoll Drive, and stole jewelry and a firearm.
Oct. 15
Criminal damage: Someone tossed eggs at a vehicle, in the 300 block of Mansell Drive, and damaged paint on its hood and quarter panel.
Assaults: A woman in the 1400 block of Church Hill Road alleged a boy, 7, attacked her 7-year-old son at their residence. The victim's brother, 8, said a 25-year-old neighbor poked him in the forehead and threw him to the ground when the boy tried to intervene. The man denied hitting the boy.
Arrest: Police arrested a 25-year-old Bessemer, Pa., man in Niles wanted on a robbery charge.
Oct. 16
Theft: An employee at the Quality Inn, 4055 Belmont Ave., reported her wallet stolen from her purse while she was at work.
Criminal damage: A man in the 900 block of Adrian Circle reported someone broke into his vehicle, rifled through the glove compartment and damaged a leather briefcase in the car.
Theft: Several residents in the 900 block of Pinecrest Road reported their vehicles broken into. Miscellaneous cassette tapes, various amounts of money and a CD player were among the items taken.
Arrests: After investigating a report of two men fighting at a Shell gas station, 4446 Logan Way, police charged two Hubbard men, 21 and 22, with disorderly conduct.
Criminal damage: A woman alleged a 15-year-old girl used a key to damage the woman's mother's car while it was parked at Denny's Restaurant, 4020 Belmont Ave.
Oct. 17
Recovered property: Police recovered 24 bottles of prescription medications, a purse and miscellaneous keys and papers from a residence, during an eviction process, in the 2900 block of Roosevelt Drive.
Criminal damage: A man in the 4800 block of Sampson Drive discovered someone cut a phone line to his residence.
Arrest: A Boardman man, 51, was arrested at the American Inn on one count of failure to appear in court to face a theft charge.
Oct. 18
Breaking and entering: Someone may have used a large steel pipe to break a window and enter U.S. Factory Outlets, 3491 Belmont Ave. Two pairs of tennis shoes were missing.
Theft: A woman reported keys, $300 and her wallet stolen while she was at LaFrance Full Service Laundry, 3433 Belmont Ave.
Theft: A man in his mid-30s reportedly stole about 30 cartons of cigarettes from Smoker Friendly, 3814 Belmont Ave.
Oct. 19
Theft: Someone stole a 4-inch-by-8-inch political sign posted near Logan Way.
Auto theft: A 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier Z-24 was stolen from the Blue Light Restaurant & amp; Lounge parking lot, 3136 Belmont Ave.
Recovered property: A man found someone's credit card in the 4400 block of Belmont Avenue and turned the card in to police.
Criminal damage: A man reported someone tried to pull a brush guard off his vehicle, causing damage to its bumper and guard, in the 40 block of Scott Street.
Oct. 20
Criminal damage: Someone damaged a vehicle's door handle at Liberty High School, 1 Leopard Way.
Theft: A man reported $25 stolen from his vehicle parked in the 1900 block of Church Hill-Hubbard Road.
Theft: A woman noticed the front license plate missing from her car while it was parked at Giant Eagle, 4700 Belmont Ave.
Theft: Someone removed a trailer hitch from a vehicle at Canter Financial Services, 4800 Belmont Ave.
Arrest: Police arrested a 17-year-old Youngstown boy on charges of being an unruly juvenile and underage consumption of alcohol.
Arrest: After attempting to stop a vehicle on state Route 193, police arrested a 22-year-old man in the 700 block of Trumbull Avenue on charges of driving under a suspended license, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and failure to comply with the orders of a police officer. Police say he fled in the vehicle and later fled on foot.
HUBBARD
Oct. 15
Vandalism: A woman in the 400 block of Stewart Avenue reported some juveniles damaged her fence.
Oct. 16
Criminal damage: Someone scrawled graffiti on a restroom wall at Hubbard High School, 350 Hall Ave.
Oct. 17
Criminal mischief: Three juveniles reportedly tossed toilet paper at a residence in the 800 block of Doris Drive.
Oct. 19
Thefts: Someone stole various items from front yards in the 200 block of Elmwood Drive, the 1100 block of Doris Drive and the 700 block of Edmond Street.
Oct. 20
Theft: An employee at Margo's Cards & amp; Gifts, 888 W. Liberty St., reported several items were removed from a storage shed at the business.
Oct. 22
Arrest: A Hubbard woman was arrested in Coitsville on one count of failure to appear in court on a domestic-violence charge.
