XYOUNGSTOWN -- Shirley M. Miranda, 5693 Tulane Ave., became the bride of Christopher M. Thomas, 5544 Cider Mill Crossing, during a ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 27 at St. Mark Orthodox Church.
The Rev. Daniel Rohan officiated for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leoncio Tirado of the Tulane Avenue address and the late Edwin Miranda and the son of Cristine Thomas and Michael Thomas, both of Youngstown.
A reception was held at Mr. Anthony's, Boardman, then the couple left for a honeymoon in Riveria Maya, Mexico. They live at the groom's address.
The bride wore a white, satin gown and carried an Austrian crystal bouquet.
Mrs. Thomas, a graduate of Austintown Hair Academy, is a stylist with Shiros Hair Salon.
Mr. Thomas graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in journalism. He works in sales at Forest Pharmaceuticals.
Honor attendants were Amanda Roby and Sheri Bobeck. Bridesmaids were Keralia Rosado, the bride's cousin; and Krista McDougal, Amy Mealy, LeAnne Snyder, Megan Marin and Christina Cavalier. They wore copper and black ensembles.
Best men were Michael and Joseph Thomas, the groom's brothers. Groomsmen were Adam Azar, his cousin; and Eric Hanna, Jason Bennett, Donald Jantonio, Brent Zorich and Ed Bak. Ushers were Edwin Miranda, her brother, and Brian Cavalier. Blake Cromer was ring bearer.
