XPOLAND -- A honeymoon in Hawaii followed the Sept. 27 wedding of George Mrofchak Jr., 481 Como St., Struthers, and his bride, the former JoEllen Bucci, 1831 Johnston Place, at Holy Family Church.
The Rev. Joe Yelenc officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony, and a reception was held at the Maronite Center in Youngstown.
Parents of the bride are James and Joy Bucci of the Johnston Place address. The groom is a son of Edith Mrofchak of the Como Street address and the late George Mrofchak Sr.
Lace and embroidery enhanced the bride's white A-line strapless, satin gown.
Mr. and Mrs. Mrofchak graduated from Youngstown State University. She earned a bachelor's degree in political science and is office manager with Gervelis law firm. He is the business manager at Copploe Diamond Jewelers, Boardman, and holds a bachelor's in management.
The bride's sister, Jennifer Bucci, was maid of honor and Missy Ciminelli, matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Miller, the bride's cousin, and Jessica Ehrenberg, Carrie Mazzucco, Allison Novicky and Kimberly Walega. They wore celadon-colored dresses. The groom's nieces, Nicole and Mariah Mrofchak, were flower girls.
Best man was Michael Rock. Groomsmen were Michael, Mark and Matthew Mrofchak, the groom's brothers; Jim Miller, the bride's cousin; and Jack Ciminelli and Pete Febinger. His nephews, Ryan Mrofchak and Corey Mrofchak, were ring bearers.
The newlyweds live in Poland.
