XYOUNGSTOWN -- Heather E. Berardi, daughter of Beri and Diane Berardi, 259 Shields Road, Boardman, and Andrew A. Uphold, son of Jack and Martha Uphold, 14756 Berlin Station Road, Berlin Center, were married at 3 p.m. Sept. 20 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
Monsignor Michael Cariglio officiated, and a reception followed at the Maronite Center. The couple honeymooned in Fiji and are living at 775 Heath Lane, Streetsboro.
Fashioned of Italian satin, the bride's pencil A-line off-white gown featured spaghetti straps of pearls and crystals and a sweep train. Her floor-length veil was detailed with pearls and crystals.
Suzette Tofil was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Shaunda Uphold, the groom's sister-in-law; Ginny Pancallo; and Cristina Garlough, the bride's cousin. They wore mocha-colored gowns.
The groom's brothers, Darrin and Troy Uphold, shared duties of best man, and groomsmen were Jason Schafer and Joseph Salman. The bride's brother, Christopher Berardi, was usher.
The bride, who is retaining her maiden name, is a summa cum laude graduate of Youngstown State University. She is employed as creative manager for Ohio Savings Bank in Cleveland.
Mr. Uphold graduated from Columbiana County Area Industrial School with a journeyman electrician certificate. He is owner/contractor of Uphold Construction & amp; Electric in Berlin Center.
