XBOARDMAN -- The Boardman Township Park gazebo provided the setting for the Oct. 5 wedding of Erin Melissa Dean of Struthers and Arthur Gene Huffman II of Boardman, who exchanged marriage vows during a ceremony at 3:30 p.m. before the Rev. Kerry R. Dean, the bride's father, and Pastor Matt Varnell.
The bride's mother, Roxanne Dean, and father live in Struthers. Parents of the groom are Art and Chris Huffman of Rochester, N.Y.
After a reception at Aulizio's Banquet Center, Warren, the couple left for a honeymoon to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. They live in Boardman.
Mrs. Huffman graduated from Valley Forge Christian College, Phoenixville, Pa., with an associate degree in Bible. She is employed as a teller at Home Savings and Loan. Mr. Huffman is employed by All Action Restoration.
The bride wore a strapless, satin gown styled with cathedral-length train and accented by pearls, lace and sequins. She wore her mother's veil from her wedding in 1971.
Rebecca Thomas of Lowellville was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Alissa Carlino of Clinton, N.J.; Karen Heiland of Phoenixville; and Candace Flinders of Hubbard. They wore black dresses. The bride's cousin, Kirsti Sierra of McDonald, was flower girl.
Rocky Sait of Austintown performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Joe Davilla of Boardman, Jason Bidelman of North Jackson and Rob Bohn of New Castle, Pa. Ring bearer was Joey Zaku of Youngstown, the bride's cousin.
