BANKING
WARREN -- First Place Financial Corp. has appointed Eric J. Caspary general manager for one of its subsidiaries, Coldwell Banker First Place Real Estate, Ltd. He will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Mahoning and Columbiana real estate offices. Caspary came to First Place from Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, where he managed that company's Liberty and Howland offices. He is a licensed real estate broker and Realtor with more than 17 years' experience.
WARREN -- Jeanette A. Plesich has been appointed vice president, personal trust officer in the wealth management department at Second National Bank in Warren.
She joined the bank in August, bringing more than 15 years' experience in banking. Plesich has a master's degree and a bachelor's degree, both from Youngstown State University, and a law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Ohio.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
WARREN -- The Arthritis Foundation, based in Atlanta, Ga., has appointed Warren native Dr. John H. Klippel the organization's new president and chief executive. Klippel has served as medical director of the Arthritis Foundation since 1999 and has more than 30 years of experience in rheumatology and medical research related to arthritis.
Before joining the Arthritis Foundation, Klippel served as clinical director of the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases, a component of the National Institutes of Health. He has authored numerous scientific and clinical publications, and is a frequent presenter at conferences and meetings worldwide.
ADVERTISING
CANFIELD -- Innis Maggiore Group, an advertising and public relations firm with offices in Canton and Canfield, has appointed Ken Weiss director of Web and interactive services. Weiss has a master's degree in media management and a bachelor's degree in advertising, both from Kent State University.
RETAIL
BOARDMAN -- True 2 Form has hired Rich Compton as the new manager of its Boardman Collision Repair Center. Compton has experience as a plant manager, production supervisor, vice president of production and general manager and spent 26 years in the Air Force, specializing in telecommunications and computers. A New Springfield native, he is a graduate of Youngstown State University.
ACCOUNTING
STRUTHERS -- Nanci R. Green, a 1987 graduate of Struthers High School, has been promoted to senior tax associate at Brockman, Coats, Gedelian & amp; Co., a certified public accounting and consulting firm in Akron. A graduate of the University of Akron with a bachelor's degree in accounting, she joined the firm in 2002.
