EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Dario Fabbro scored his first goal of the season and Pat Noonan added a score to lead New England. The Revolution (11-9-9) and the MetroStars are tied for second place in the Eastern Conference with 42 points. The teams play each other next Saturday in Foxboro, Mass., to close out the regular season. Fabbro, who has received more playing time recently due to an injury to Taylor Twellman, the league's top scorer, scored off a rebound of a shot by Brian Kamler in the 15th minute. Noonan increased the lead to 2-0 when he stole the ball from MetroStars defender Steve Jolley in the 37th minute and scored on a breakaway. It was Noonan's seventh goal of the season, four of which have come against the MetroStars. Andrzej Juskowiak scored his first goal of the season for the MetroStars. The Revolution are 5-0-1 in their last six games..

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Jimmy Conrad scored on a header in the 15th minute off Preki's corner kick. Preki's left-footed corner kick curled toward the left post, and Conrad leaped over Dallas' Brian Dunseth to head the shot past goalkeeper D.J. Countess. The goal was Conrad's fourth of the season, a career high. The assist was Preki's league-leading 17th of the season, and tied his career high. Tony Meola made one save for the Wizards (11-10-8), who won their fourth straight. The Burn fell to a league-worst 5-19-5.

CHICAGO -- Chris Armas had the first two-goal game of his career, including the game-winner in the 94th minute, to rally Chicago. Armas beat goalkeeper Scott Garlick from 16 yards to give Chicago the win. The midfielder scored his first goal from a tough angle to regain the lead for Chicago in the 42nd minute. Rapids striker Zizi Roberts scored goals in the 87th and 72nd minutes to tie the game. In the 66th minute, he scored on a pass from John Spencer to cut the Colorado deficit to 3-2. Ante Razov and DaMarcus Beasley also scored for Chicago. Chris Henderson added Colorado's other goal.
