Grove City 4, Thiel 1 --Junior forward Michelle Novosel scored twice, while sophmore midfielder Stacey Brubaker and sophomore Kate Klingensmith scored one goal apiece for Grove City (10-3-1, 6-0-0). Senior forward Meg Tilley and junior midfielder Autumn Hubbard had assists for the winners. For Thiel, junior midfielder Katie Mound (Southeast HS) scored her team-high 12th goal of the season on a penalty kick. Grove City had a 30-4 advantage in shots while Thiel finished with a 4-2 advantage in corner kicks. Sophomore goalkeeper Ashleigh Dunsmore (Harborcreek HS) finished with six saves in the loss. Thiel returns to action Oct. 21 when it travels to PAC rival Westminster College for a 4 p.m. game.
