MAHONING TWP. Residents to prepare for fall cleanup

The refrigerant gas must be removed from refrigerators and air conditioners.
HILLSVILLE, Pa. -- Mahoning Township will have a fall cleanup Oct. 27 to Nov. 3. Residents should place their items at curbside the day before their scheduled collections.
Items should be placed in bags and bundles.
Things not accepted are plate glass, anything longer than 10 feet, perishables or other garbage, batteries, tires, paint cans or large amounts of wood. Refrigerators or air conditioners will not be accepted unless the freon is professionally removed and the appliance is tagged. Furniture and appliances will be accepted.
Residents of all mobile home parks must place their items at the entrances.
The township road crew will not enter the mobile home parks.
The following is scheduled:
UOct. 27 -- Hillsville, East and West Main streets; Church Hill Road to Bessemer-Hillsville Road; Rich Avenue; Carbon area; West State Street from the Ohio line to Church Hill Road, including Quaker Heights.
UOct. 28 -- Overlook Drive; Francis Drive; Church Hill Road to the river; West State Street from Churhc Hill; Rachal Road; Carbon-Micco Road; Arena Lane; Hilltop and Butch Estates.
UOct. 29 -- Miller Farm Road; Mohawk School Road; Edinburg; North Edinburg Road-South; Countryside mobile home park; West State Street-East of Hilltop Estates.
UOct. 30 -- North Edinburg, the eastern section of the township including Benjamin Franklin Highway; the Harbor; Sankey Run Road; Skyhill Road; North Edinburg Road-North; Twilight and Devite mobile home parks.
UOct. 31 -- Zoccoli mobile home park; North Edinburg Road-North to the township line; Matthews Road; Denny Drive; Garner Road; Five Points Road; Zoccoli Road; Palmer Road.
UNov. 3 -- Ambrosia Road; Baird Road, Hillsville Road; Coffee Run Road.
UNov. 4 -- Evergreen Road; Skyhill Road; Butch Circle; McBride Road; Carlisle Road.
UNov. 5 ‚ Erskine Quarry Road; Graham Road; River Road; Jacobson Road.
