MADISON, Wis. -- Ben Jones kicked an 18-yard field goal with three seconds remaining Saturday to give No. 13 Purdue a 26-23 victory over 14th-ranked Wisconsin.
Kyle Orton drove the Boilermakers (6-1, 3-0 Big Ten) 82 yards in 11 plays for the win, their sixth straight.
He converted a third-and-10 pass at midfield with just under two minutes remaining and hit Ray Williams for 36 yards to the Badgers' 3 on the next play.
Tied at 2:55
The Badgers (6-2, 3-1) had tied it at 23 on Jim Leonhard's 63-yard punt return with 2:55 remaining and covered the kickoff at the 17.
But Orton, who completed 38 of 55 passes for 411 yards and a touchdown, burned the Badgers once again as he marched the Boilermakers downfield, completing pass after pass to Stubblefield and John Standeford.
Stubblefield finished with 16 catches for 130 yards and a score, and Standeford caught 14 passes for 184 yards, including a 50-yarder that TV replays showed should have been a 74-yard score had officials not ruled he stepped out of bounds at the Wisconsin 26.
For the second straight week, backup quarterback Matt Schabert had to replace an injured Jim Sorgi for the Badgers.
Schabert was sacked on his first two dropbacks and three times overall. He finished 5-of-9 for 78 yards and Wisconsin's offense scored just one time -- a field goal -- on six possessions with him under center.
Shaun Phillips had 3 1/2 sacks and recovered Anthony Davis' fumble.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Chris Perry ran for three touchdowns and 140 yards and Steve Breaston returned a punt 74 yards for a score for 17th-ranked Michigan.
Michigan (6-2, 3-1 Big Ten) led 35-0 at halftime and avoided a letdown after rallying from a 21-point, fourth-quarter deficit to beat Minnesota last week in the biggest comeback in school history.
The last time the Illini (1-7, 0-4) struggled as much as they have this year was 1997, when Ron Turner's first team was 0-11.
Perry has run for 999 yards and scored 14 times this season.
John Navarre completed 18 of 27 passes for 203 yards and a TD, with no interceptions. Jason Avant caught four passes for 71 yards.
Illinois' Chris Pazan started in place of Jon Beutjer, who missed the game with a sore back. Pazan was 11-of-23 for 100 yards with an interception.
Pierre Thomas ensured the Illini would not be shut out with a 1-yard run midway through the third quarter, and his 7-yard run late in the game made it 49-14.
Safety Marlin Jackson, who left the Minnesota game with an undisclosed injury, was not in uniform Saturday. Carr said he hoped Jackson, of Sharon, would play next week against Purdue.

MINNEAPOLIS -- Jeff Smoker threw for 252 yards and ran for a touchdown and DeAndra Cobb had a 100-yard kickoff return as 15th-ranked Michigan State beat No. 25 Minnesota.
Jaren Hayes had two touchdown runs for the Spartans (7-1, 4-0 Big Ten), who won their fifth straight and snapped a three-game losing streak to the Gophers. Dave Rayner kicked field goals of 46, 50 and 52 yards for Michigan State.
The Spartans appeared to seal the win on Jason Teague's 60-yard TD run with 6:47 to play.
But Minnesota managed to put together two late scoring drives. Jakari Wallace caught his first career TD pass on a 23-yard pass from Asad Abdul-Khaliq with 4:47 remaining. And Aaron Hosack hauled in an 8-yard reception, his second score of the day, to make it 44-38.
