55-PLUSLIBERTY
XA meeting of Liberty 55-Plus Seniors will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Rocco Church Hall, 230 Trumbull Court, Liberty. Halloween will be observed, and there will be pizza, coffee, a 50-50 raffle and bingo. Plans for a Thanksgiving dinner will be finalized. Hostesses will be Betty Arbie, Anita Battafarano, Virginia Cristom and Isabel Pascarelli.

XMineral Ridge 55-Plus Club will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Church. Afterward members will dine out.

XPoland Chapter 2520, AARP, will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman-Poland Road. Guest speaker will be officer Chuck Mound of the Boardman Police Department, whose topic will be "Con Men and Frauds." Visitors are welcome.

XNiles Chapter 3530, AARP, will meet at noon Monday at Vernon's Cafe, state Route 422, Niles. Reports will be given by Ann Dzeda.

XBoardman South Chapter 4545, AARP, will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 6 at the Holiday Inn in Boardman. Margaret Mullen will preside, and menu choices will be baked ham or ocean perch francaise. XHoly Family Seniors will meet at 12:30 p.m. Monday at the K. of C. Hall in Poland. Refreshments will be served, and on the agenda will be a 50-50 drawing, cards and bingo. Contribution of canned goods and paper products are needed for the Poland Food Pantry. Hostesses will be Kay D'Apolito, Elizabeth DelSignore and Eileen Iarussi.

XHoly Name Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Oct. 26 in Founder's Hall. Anne Backus will preside, and hostesses will be Nancy Raymer, Anne Kutsko, Josephine Borsick and Helen Balko. There will be lunch, cards and bingo. Nominations for officers will take place, and dues of $3 will be collected for 2004.

XThe Senior Adult Program at the Jewish Community Center will feature a talk with a social worker from 11 to 11:45 Monday followed by a noon dairy lunch of potato soup, noodle kugel, salmon loaf, peas with onions and angel food cake. On Wednesday there will be a meat lunch of tossed salad, chili and rice, corn and birthday cake.
KRESS FIVE AND DIME
XRetired Kress Five and Dime workers will have lunch at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Old Country Buffet, state Route 224, Boardman.
LIBERTY
XLiberty Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Church Hill United Methodist Church with Rosemary Demi presiding. Guest speaker will be Harold Bailey, the Friendly Trapper, who will have his books for sale. Hostesses are Jessie Chrystal, Mary Gail Hrubiak, Marge Harkabus and Kathryn Foltz. Beverages will be provided for the sack lunch.

Reservations will be accepted for a Thanksgiving dinner Nov. 12 and a Christmas dinner and installation ceremony Dec. 10, both at St. Mark's Center and $12.50 each.

XBridge, 500, chess, checkers and shuffleboard will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. XSt. Christine Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Gutman Hall with Harriet Moschella presiding. Jean Baechly and Mary Jo Theis will give reports, and on the social committee will be Helen Beraduce, Ann Yurcho, Mary Saltis, Kathryn Kendall, Eleanor Krajcirsk, Jenny Miller and Ann Banyots. ST. DOMINIC
XSt. Dominic Senior Citizens will meet at noon Tuesday at Queen's Place for lunch. The meeting will begin at 12:30 p.m. Dues for the coming year must be paid at this meeting.
THIRD BAPTIST
XKeenagers of Third Baptist Church will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Payment will be accepted for a show and luncheon at the Carousel on Nov. 22, and plans will be made for a Christmas party and programs for 2004.
