Mirror improves lip service

Think of all the random places you sometimes end up applying your lipstick: in the back of your mom's SUV. At your locker between classes. In the movie theater waiting for your date to come back from the concession stand. Not ideal locations for makeup applications, but hey, life moves fast.
Thankfully, there's something that will make the experience a whole lot easier. The cute mirror is the invention of Bloom Cosmetics, and it's a celebration of the company's 10th anniversary. But more importantly, it's a celebration of making your life more convenient. Bloom created the mirror to hook on to its lipsticks and lip glosses, but we're guessing you could probably clip it on to your other lipsticks as well. The real dilemma will be figuring out which of your favorite lip colors gets the special treatment.
Pick up Bloom's clip-on lipstick mirror for $20 at www.sephora.com, while supplies last.
Cool candy
There's something special about M & amp;Ms ... and apparently we're not the only ones who think so. They've been around for more than 60 years, and show no signs of slowing down. If you're a fan of the little chocolate candies, log on to www.mms.com and vote for your all-time favorite M & amp;Ms commercial. You can watch the commercials right on your computer screen, and then pick the one that best captures everything you love about M & amp;Ms. Vote as many times as you want -- and there's no voting age!
And while you're on the site, check out the M & amp;Ms scrapbook, where fans can record their favorite thing about the candy. One woman writes about her new tattoo of a blue M & amp;M. Another fan says he misses the light brown ones -- they were the same color as his carpet, and used to blend in when he dropped one. You can read those and other sometimes-bizarre entries, or offer your own thoughts about the candy-coated chocolates.
