TENNIS
Slippery Rock -- representatives in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Small College Championships dropped opening-round matches. Jessica Bungo lost 6-1, 6-0 to Katlin Nagy of Cal State-Bakersfield, while Bungo and Ashley Michaux lost a doubles match, 1-6, 6-3, 10-8, to Northeastern State's Beril Itschert and Holly McKee.
VOLLEYBALL
Grove City 3, Bethany 1 -- The Wolverines recorded a 30-15, 30-21, 25-30, 30-28 victory to run their record to 8-19, 3-4 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference.
Westminster 3, Thiel 2 -- The Titans recorded a 30-27, 17-30, 30-13, 29-31, 15-10 victory to run their record to 9-18, 4-3 PAC. Thiel is 8-12, 2-5. Erin Hinks, a Mineral Ridge High graduate, had 23 kills, while Fitch graduate Katie McDermott added 11.
