YOUNGSTOWN -- U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan of Niles, D-17th, will speak to the Rotary Club of Youngstown at noon Wednesday at the Youngstown Club.
Seminar targets landingof government contracts
MONACA, Pa. -- A seminar to help businesses receive government contracts will be at 8 a.m. Monday at the library conference center at Beaver County Community College. U.S. Rep. Melissa Hart, R-4th, of Bradford Woods, Pa., will introduce the workshops, which will be given by procurement experts with the government and other agencies.
Poland hair, nail salongets a new owner
POLAND -- Robert Marcotte is buying Xclusively You, a hair and nail salon in Town One Square, from Pandes Ryzum, effective Nov. 1.
Marcotte has owned or managed salons in several states and recently relocated to Ohio from Key West, Fla. He graduated in 2001 from the Helix Design Academy in Tennessee and has been trained at the Advanced Design Academy in Atlanta.
