Model dedication set
WARREN -- The formal dedication of the model of the lunar module Neil Armstrong landed on the moon in 1969 is set from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The site is on Parkman Road, next to the Trumbull Plaza where Armstrong took his first airplane ride in July 1936 as a boy. The dedication culminates more than two years of work by volunteers, coordinated by city resident Pete Perich.
Free airplane rides for children will be offered as part of the activities.
