POLAND -- Tony Gura, owner of Gura Video in Poland, has been certified as a court videographer after successfully completing requirements set by the American Guild of Court Videographers. His AGCV training in forensic videography included instruction on taping of depositions, settlement documentaries, and taping of crime scenes, damages, mock trials, will executions and construction surveys. A native of Czechoslovakia, Gura lives in Poland. He recently expanded his family wedding video business to include legal videography.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Cambridge Home Health Care, an Akron company which has offices in Youngstown and Warren, has been named one of America's entrepreneurial growth leaders for the second consecutive year by Inc. magazine.
To be eligible for the magazine's list of the top 500 fastest-growing private companies, a business must be an independent, privately held corporation, proprietorship or partnership with sales of at least $200,000 in 1998 and showing an increase in sales in 2002 over 2001.
The company was also named a recipient of the NorthCoast 99 Award for the fifth year in a row. The award recognizes the top 99 best places to work in the 22-county region of Northeast Ohio.
SHARON, Pa. -- Sharon Regional Health System's Cardiac Rehabilitation Program has been awarded program certification by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
Certification recognizes programs reviewed by a national board which meet certain standards of care. According to the AACVPR national office, Sharon Regional has the only cardiac program in Mercer County to have earned this certification.
Sharon Regional's program, part of its Heart Institute, focuses on risk factor modification for secondary prevention of coronary artery disease.
