XCINCINNATI -- Vows were exchanged by Lauren Arata, Cary Avenue, and Cevin Macias, Spruce Run Drive, North Royalton, in the presence of the Rev. George Jacquemin during a 2 p.m. ceremony Sept. 13 at St. Clare Church.
The daughter of Jim and Leslie Arata, also of Cary Avenue, and the son of Alfonso and Suzanne Macias, Vernette Avenue, Austintown, were honored during a reception at Wunderland Banquet Hall before leaving for Hawaii.
A postnuptial reception was held Oct. 4 at Theodore's Banquet Center, Mineral Ridge.
The bride's white organza gown featured spaghetti straps, a dropped bodice enhanced with pearls and bugle beads, and a cathedral train.
Aubergine-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Sherri Harbaugh, and the bridesmaids, Jackie Macias, Jessica Turner, Annie Kortlandt, Stephanie Nadler and Kristen Cappel. Junior bridesmaids were Carrie and Marisa Schwartz.
Alfonso Macias and Jack Palmieri shared the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Andrew Arata, Ben Shoemaker, Greg Koskinen, Troy Swendal and Aaron Krocker.
The couple live in North Royalton. The bride earned a bachelor's degree in business administration at Ohio University in Athens and is in technical support with Parker Hannifin. The groom, a technical analyst with National City Corp., holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Ohio University. He is pursuing a master's degree in business administration at Case Western Reserve University.
