Joneses mark 55th anniversary at family picnic

XPOLAND -- Mr. and Mrs. Bob Jones of Pine Hill Drive were honored Sept. 27 at a family picnic at their home in celebration of their 55th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the event were the couple's children and their spouses, Cal and Val Jones of North Lima; Marti and George Ambrose of Filer, Idaho; and Sue Jones of Wheaton, Ill.
Mr. Jones and the former Ritchie Harper were married Sept. 25, 1948, at the Harper family home near Frazeysburg. She worked as a nurse at South Side Hospital and the Boardman Local Schools, and he is retired from L. Calvin Jones & amp; Co.
The couple belong to Poland Presbyterian Church and are active in community service. They have three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
