ALAINA BOGANGARY STERNBURG
XBOARDMAN -- St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park was the setting at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 13 for the wedding of Alaina Bogan and Gary Sternburg.
Parents of the couple are Janice Bogan, 474 W. Creed St., Struthers; Henry Bogan, 1946 Norwood St. N.W., Warren; and Donald and Wendy Sternburg, 3405 W. Pine Lake Road, Columbiana.
The Rev. Bruce Rzengotta officiated, and a reception was held at The Elm Tree in Struthers. The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, and they live at 448 6th St., Struthers.
An ivory halter-style gown was worn by the bride. A single rose adorned the waistline, and she also wore elbow-length gloves.
Stacy Smith was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Kim Sternburg, the groom's sister; Lisa Kalbasky; Mary Hernon, the bride's sister-in-law; Amanda Quinn; and Katie Sanders. They wore stone-colored gowns. Nora Hernon, the bride's niece, was flower girl.
Best man was Andrew Brown, and groomsmen were Jared Bogan, the bride's brother, and Ric Ellis, Josh Rhoads, Dan Davis and Rob Wolleey. Ring bearer was the groom's cousin, Jacob Dorbish.
Mrs. Sternburg holds an associate degree from Kent State University Salem Campus and is a CAT-scan technologist at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.
Her husband attended Youngstown State University. He is an emergency assistant at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
