BASKETBALL
Salem -- Anyone interested in joining a men's age-30-and-over basketball league is invited to attend an organizational meeting set for 7 p.m. Oct. 23 at the Salem Community Center, 1098 N. Ellsworth Ave. The center is hosting the league. Women are welcome to play, but the league will be using men's rules and equipment. Besides prospective players, anyone interested in being officials or scorekeepers also should attend.
