WARREN Ghost Walk to feature facts about Trumbull County



WARREN -- The ghosts of Trumbull County's past return to the city's historic downtown for the Ghost Walk, presented by Fine Art Council of Trumbull County, Trumbull County Historical Society and Trumbull New Theatre.
Walks begin Friday and Saturday and continue Oct. 24 and Oct. 25.
Tour groups leave from First Presbyterian Church, Mahoning Ave., every 10 minutes beginning at 6:30 p.m. with the last tour leaving at 9 p.m.
Groups will be guided to mansions and the pioneer cemetery along Mahoning Avenue, where costumed actors and actresses re-enact true stories from the county's past. Groups with 15 or more members should call in advance.
The number of tickets is limited, and advance sales are encouraged. Pre-sale tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for children younger than 16. Tickets may be bought in advance at B & amp;K Farm Market, Elm Road, Cortland; the Hippodrome, High Street; or R & amp;R Gourmet Village, Market Street, Howland.

On Friday, library card holders may present their cards at the on-site ticket window and buy tickets at the pre-sale price.
In cooperation with the Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste District, Saturday will be Recycling Fright Night. Anyone who brings an old magazine to be recycled will receive a reusable jack-o-lantern tote bag while supplies last.
Staff from the waste district will be promoting recycling drop-off locations that now accept magazines as well as glass, cans and newspapers.
Oct. 25, a tour with an American sign language interpreter will leave the church at 6:30 p.m. Reservations are required. Call (800) 750-0750 to make reservations.
