MERCER COUNTY Speaker to emphasize cooperation

WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. -- Rick Stafford, retiring CEO of the Allegheny Conference on Community Development, will be the speaker for 59th annual dinner meeting of the Mercer County Branch of the Economy League on Oct. 29 at Oak Tree Country Club.
A social hour begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. and then the program.
The focus
Stafford, who is also CEO of the Western Division of the Pa. Economy League, the Pittsburgh Regional Alliance and the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce, will focus on & quot;Building Bridges Between Mercer County and the Southwest Pennsylvania Region. & quot;
A limited number of reservations are available to the public and can be made by calling the league's office at (412)-342-3074 no later than Oct. 24. Cost for the dinner is $30 per person.
The Economy League is a private, nonpartisan, nonprofit, 501-C3 governmental research and consulting organization supported by the Mercer County business community.
