E. Palestine, Rebels advance in sectional

SALEM -- The East Palestine High volleyball team advanced to play top-seeded Springfield after defeating Campbell Memorial 15-3, 15-0 in the Division III tournament Monday at Salem High.
The Bulldogs will meet Springfield at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Crestview also advanced in the tournament and will play United on Wednesday. The Rebels defeated St. Thomas Aquinas 15-3, 15-10.
In the Div. III tournament at LaBrae Middle School, Badger defeated Mooney 15-7, 15-11, and Rootstown ousted Newton Falls 15-7, 10-15, 15-3.
Warren Harding was eliminated from the Div. I tournament, losing to Bedford 15-10, 8-15, 15-6 in Solon.
