Penguins rally to tie on Aleksey Morozov's goal

Pittsburgh battled back from a 3-0 deficit to tie the Flyers 3-3.
PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Aleksey Morozov's goal with 7:12 remaining brought Pittsburgh back from a three-goal deficit as the Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers played to a 3-3 tie Saturday night.
The Flyers led 3-0 after almost 18 minutes, but failed to hold it against the rebuilding Penguins.
The Penguins were coming off a 3-0 season-opening loss to Los Angeles on Friday night in which they tied a franchise home low with just 11 shots. But against the Flyers, the Penguins were more active offensively, surpassing their shot total from one night earlier midway through the second period.
Pittsburgh tied it when Morozov took a pass from Ryan Malone during an odd-man rush and lifted a shot over Flyers goaltender Robert Esche's left shoulder.
Lemieux gets first goal
Hall of Famer Mario Lemieux and Dick Tarnstrom also scored for Pittsburgh.
Justin Williams, Claude Lapointe and Donald Brashear had Philadelphia's goals.
Sebastien Caron had 32 saves in his first start for the Penguins. Eighteen-year-old Marc-Andre Fleury, the No. 1 pick in the June entry draft, stopped 46 of 48 shots in a remarkable NHL debut Friday night for Pittsburgh.
Esche had 20 saves in his first start. Jeff Hackett stopped 17 shutouts in a 2-0 victory over Buffalo in his Flyers debut Thursday night.
Williams gave the Flyers a 1-0 lead on a power-play goal just 1:59 into the game, knocking in his second rebound past Caron.
Caron stopped Williams' backhander in front of the net, but Williams got the rebound and shot it off Tarnstrom before poking it in.
Lapointe made it 2-0 on a short-handed goal with 5:32 remaining in the first. Lapointe intercepted a pass from Morozov and skated in from just inside center ice, beating Caron between the legs with a wrist shot.
Brashear took a crossing pass from Sami Kapanen behind the net and stuffed it past Caron for a 3-0 lead with 2:05 remaining in the first.
Tarnstrom scored Pittsburgh's first goal of the season, cutting the deficit to 3-1 midway through the second period.
Lemieux made it 3-2 5:07 into the third, snapping a personal record 10-game scoring drought. Three Flyers standing in the crease failed to clear a shot by Konstantin Koltsov, allowing Lemieux to tip the puck into an open net.
