ARTS AND CRAFTS SHOWS
XThe Old Hickory Craft Show is planned from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 25 at Hickory High School, 640 N. Hermitage Road, Hermitage, Pa., by the Hickory Band Booster Organization. More than 100 exhibitors will show their crafts, and homemade lunches will be available. Admission is $2; parking is free. Proceeds will benefit the high school band program. XA craft show will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 25 at Queen of the Holy Rosary Church, 291 Scoville Drive, Vienna. Refreshments will be available. XQuota Club of Salem will hold a fall festival of crafts from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Timberlanes, 544 E. Pershing St., Salem. There also will be a Chinese auction, 50-50 drawing and raffle for a handcrocheted afghan and Quaker throw. Baked goods and candy also will be sold. Proceeds benefit charitable club projects.
XSt. Jude Women's Guild will sponsor a craft show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 15 at the activity center, 180 Seventh St., Columbiana. XA holiday arts and crafts bazaar will be held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 5 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 6 at Salem Memorial Building, 785 E. State St. Rental tables are $25 for the two days. Vendors should make checks payable to the Memorial Building Association.
XYoungstown-Warren Ohio Black Nurses Association will hold a Personal Preference Art Show at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the Renaissance Building, 340 Oak Hill Ave., Youngstown. Admission is free.

BINGO-CARD PARTIES
XAmerican Cancer Society breast cancer support groups will sponsor a Bingo for a Cure Thursday at McMenamy's Banquet Center, Route 422, Niles. Doors will open at 5 p.m., and games begin at 6:30. FESTIVALS
XA Lebanese Food Fest will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at St. Maron Antioch Hall, 1555 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown. Featured will be kibbee, tabouli salad, humus, grape leaves, baklava and more to eat in or take out. There will be a big screen television for watching games, a beer booth and hayrides.
XSt. Stephen of Hungary Church, 854 Wilson Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor a Grape Harvest Festival from 12:30 to 6 p.m. Sunday. There will be music by the Bob Zolka Band from 2 to 5 p.m. and ethnic foods including stuffed cabbage, pirogi, kolbasi dinners, haluski, and Hungarian and American pastries. A Chinese auction with tickets three for a dollar will be held with drawings at 5 p.m. There will be a raffle at 6. Admission is $2. A Mass will be held at 11 a.m.
FUND-RAISERS
XLiberty Relay for Life Event committee is raffling off an autographed copy of a 1981 Sports Illustrated cover featuring basketball coach Bobby Knight, who spoke at a Hall of Fame Banquet in Liberty. He signed the magazine cover with the words "Beat Cancer" and his name. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Tickets may be obtained at the Liberty schools administration office or by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope with a check made out to the American Cancer Society, Liberty Relay for Life Event, 4115 Shady Road, Youngstown, Ohio 44505. The cover has been mounted on a plaque and is on display at the Liberty administration office. The winning ticket will be drawn Dec. 19.
XOur Lady of Lebanon Shrine, 2759 Lipkey Road, North Jackson, will be the setting for a "Mission of Love" fund-raiser from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday. Advance tickets are $22 for adults and $10 for children, and include dinner and dessert, a Chinese raffle and entertainment. Reservations are required by Tuesday. SHOWS
XHowland Community Church, 198 Niles-Cortland Road, Warren, will sponsor a quilt show from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. A certified appraiser will speak at 2 p.m. both days. There will be make-it, take-it classes from 11 a.m. to noon and 4 to 5 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. SPECIAL EVENTS
XCamelot Center Therapeutic Riding Program will hold a fall open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 25 the facility, located at 2837 state Route 534 N.W., Southington. The nonprofit organization offers therapeutic horseback riding to physically and mentally challenged people of all ages. X"Decking Out the Halls" design show is planned Wednesday at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Centre in Liberty by Oakland Center for the Arts and WFMJ-TV 21. The event will feature 20 local designers. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show starts at 6:30. A silent auction will follow. Reserved tickets are $10 and at the door, $12. Call (330) 746-0404 for reservations.
