Grove City -- defeated Lake Erie College 1-0 on Thursday for the 249th career victory for 31-year coach Dr. Don Lyle.
Thiel -- tied Bethany 2-2 on Thursday. The Tomcats are 2-10-2 overall, 1-3-2 Presidents' Athletic Conference. Bethany is 1-10-2, 1-3-2.
VOLLEYBALL
Westminster -- dropped to 8-18 overall and 3-3 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference with Thursday's loss to Waynesburg (20-4, 6-0). Scores were 30-24, 30-28, 30-27.
Slippery Rock -- improved to 12-8 overall with Thursday's win over Grove City (6-17. Scores were 30-26, 30-20, 25-30, 30-23. Grove City High graduate Toni Reiber made 21 digs for Slippery Rock. Grove City high graduate Carly Denniston dished out 38 assists for Grove City.
Thiel -- improved to 7-10 overall and 2-3 in PAC with Thursday's win over Bethany. Scores were 23-30, 30-32, 30-23, 30-28, 15-9.
