LIBERTY Leaf pickup

The township will begin its annual leaf pickup program Nov. 12. Here's the schedule and details:
Wednesdays, Nov. 12 and 19: south of Church Hill Road and east of Belmont Avenue.
Thursdays, Nov. 13 and 20: north of Church Hill and east of Belmont.
Fridays, Nov. 14 and 21: west of Belmont.
Only paper or township-issued biodegradable plastic bags will be collected. The township is selling five bags for $1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 14, through Nov. 13, at the administration building on state Route 304.
No trash, branches or mulch will be picked up.
Paper bags must be left open. Biodegradable plastic bags should be tied, according to instructions; bags closed with tape, staples or string will not be picked up.
Bags must be placed at roadside by 7 a.m. the day of collection.
There will be no collections beyond those listed.
