RESTAURANTS
YOUNGSTOWN -- Bravo Development Inc., a restaurant developer based in Columbus, has named Youngstown native Brad Herron as its director of purchasing. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Kent State University. Herron has more than 20 years' experience in the food service industry, most recently as director of purchasing for California Pizza Kitchen restaurants, where he managed day-to-day supply issues for 140 restaurants and four distribution centers.
BANKING
YOUNGSTOWN -- Sky Bank has promoted Michael Madsen of Poland to senior vice president and district sales manager for the Mahoning Valley Region. Madsen joined the bank in 1999 with 13 years' experience in banking, and more recently, he was a vice president and district sales manager. He has a bachelor's degree in economics from Youngstown State University.
SCIENCE
BOARDMAN -- Eric Hildebrand, a Boardman native, is a senior radar analyst with General Dynamics in Beavercreek, Ohio, after completing his doctoral degree in physics at the University of Pittsburgh. A1990 graduate of Boardman High School, Hildebrand specializes in theorical physics. He has two bachelor's degrees from Ohio State University, one in mathematics and one in physics, and a master's degree, also in physics, form the University of Pittsburgh. He lives in Beavercreek.
TRAINING
YOUNGSTOWN -- Mahoning and Columbiana Training Association has promoted two employees and hired two new staff members.
Donna C. Guerrieri was promoted to career consultant, providing case management for MCTA customers. She has a bachelor's degree in sociology from Youngstown State University.
Also promoted was Sharlene L. Senediak, now a career consultant focusing primarily on developing individual employment plans. She has a master's degree in business administration from Clarion University.
Arelis Lavenia, formerly an MCTA participant, is now a greeter and receptionist at the Mahoning County One-Stop in Boardman. She attended the Mahoning County Career & amp; Technical Center.
Susan Odom has joined MCTA's Youngstown office as an instructor aide. She is a graduate of Virginia Wesleyan College in Norfolk, Va.
HEALTH CARE
POLAND -- Sunrise Assisted Living of Poland has added Jennifer Tomaino to its staff as health care coordinator. Tomaino, a registered nurse, is a graduate of Kent State University and the Choffin School of Practical Nursing. She was previously employed by Humility of Mary Health Partners.
REAL ESTATE
BOARDMAN -- Debbie S. Parisi of Canfield is now affiliated with Rightplacerealty.com, a newly formed Boardman real estate firm. Parisi is a certified residential specialist, a graduate of the Realtor Institute and an accredited buyer's representative with 11 years' experience. Before her career in real estate, Debbie was an oiler with the Operating Engineers Local 66.
