XSTRUTHERS -- The Rev. Phillip Rogers presided at 2 p.m. Sept. 6 at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church as Nicole Marie Cavanaugh and William Charles Spiker Jr., both of 7866 Heathermoor Drive, Columbus, were united in marriage.
Donald and Lorraine Cavanaugh, 215 Iroquois St., are parents of the bride, and the groom's parents are Bill Spiker and Leola Sandine, both of Struthers.
The couple were honored during a reception at The Georgetown in Boardman before leaving on a wedding trip to Jamaica. They live in Columbus.
The bride wore a strapless, white satin gown.
Navy-blue gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Amanda Cavanaugh, and the bridesmaids, Michelle Marapese and the groom's sister, Amanda Spiker. Junior bridesmaid was the bride's sister, Celeste Cavanaugh.
The duties of best man were performed by Mike Young, and groomsmen were the bride's brother, Donald Cavanaugh, and Adam Russ. Ring bearer was Vincent Cavanaugh, brother of the bride.
The bride and groom graduated from Ohio University in Athens. She holds a bachelor's and a master's degree in business administration, and is an auditor with Crowe Chizek and Co., Columbus. He earned a bachelor's degree in computer science and is a manager at Wal-Mart in Columbus.
