XPOLAND -- Nassau in the Bahamas was the honeymoon destination of Christopher Scott Cox and his bride, the former Anna Elizabeth Benton, both of 348 Geneva Ave., Struthers, who were married at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 13 at Poland Presbyterian Church.
The daughter of William and Phyllis Benton, 301 S. Main St., and the son of Gerald and Helen Cox, 3605 Wyandot Lane, Youngstown, exchanged vows in the presence of the Rev. Dr. Robert Hoover and were honored afterward at a reception at St. Nicholas Social Hall.
They live in Struthers.
The bride's strapless, ivory satin gown was designed with a corset-style bodice and enhanced with champagne trimming.
Honor attendants were Taylor Benton, the bride's daughter, and Christine Garcia. Bridesmaids were Aimee and Rachel Benton and Sarah Orr, sisters of the bride, and Stacy Kelty. They wore champagne gowns. Flower girls were the bride's niece, Jensyn Orr, and Kayla Kelty.
Jerry and Mike Cox were best men for their brother, and groomsmen were Bill Orr, the bride's brother-in-law; Frank Garcia; Jimmy Carlucci; and Frank Rondinelli. Junior groomsman was Manny Benton, the bride's nephew, and ring bearers were the bride's son, Raymond Hammonds, and her nephew, Billy Orr. Her brother, Charles Benton, was usher.
The bride is a dental receptionist with Dr. M. Frank Beck in Boardman, and the groom is a supervisor with J.L. Treharn Inc., Youngstown.
