GIRARD
Sunday
Possible theft: A woman returned to Santisi's IGA Super Center, 419 N. State St., to retrieve her wallet, but discovered it had been lost or stolen.
Theft: Someone stole an inflatable purple spider decoration from a front yard in the 500 block of East Prospect Street.
Arrest: Police arrested an 18-year-old Girard man in the 100 block of East Main Street on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, corrupting another with drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police say they saw him with a juvenile who was smoking suspected marijuana and that he admitted bringing a marijuana pipe. He also was wanted on a warrant charging him with breaking and entering.
Drugs: After responding to a report of juveniles drinking beer in the 100 block of East Main Street, police arrested two Girard men, 18 and 22, on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Officers reported seeing a girl, 12, smoking from a pipe containing suspected marijuana.
Criminal damage: Someone threw a rock and broke an exterior window at a McQuaid's gas station, 131 S. State St.
Criminal mischief: An employee at Dairy Queen, 201 S. State St., reported some juveniles shot paint balls at a trash can and tossed several moistened napkins and chocolate syrup at the building.
Drugs: After investigating a suspicious vehicle behind Joe to Go on North State Street and stopping it in a nearby parking lot, police say they found a bag of suspected marijuana in the driver's pocket and a marijuana pipe on the car's passenger-side seat.
Monday
Unauthorized use of a vehicle: A man in the 400 block of Parkview Drive alleged a 19-year-old man failed to return his 1990 Honda after agreeing to buy the vehicle from him for $900.
Breaking and entering/theft: Someone cut part of a rear fence and broke into Summit Storage Center, 1715 N. State St. At least 20 locks to storage units had been cut and removed, various pieces of property were found strewn on the ground, and an all-terrain vehicle may have been taken.
Theft: A woman reported her purse stolen while she was at Woody's Bar & amp; Grill, 718 N. State St.
Vandalism: A man in the 700 block of Church Hill Road reported someone kicked in his vehicle's passenger-side door at his residence.
LIBERTY
Oct. 1
Arrest: Police arrested a 46-year-old man at his Keefer Road residence on a warrant charging him with passing bad checks.
Theft: Police charged a 32-year-old Youngstown woman with theft after an employee at Penguin Check Cashing, 3233 Belmont Ave., said she tried to cash a bad check. The employee also alleged the woman had defrauded the company of $2,467 over a six-month period.
Theft: A woman in the 500 block of Murray Hill Drive reported two pairs of glasses, 35 CDs and $15 were taken from her vehicle.
Oct. 2
Unauthorized use of a vehicle: A man in the 2000 block of Crestwood Boulevard alleged a woman in her 30s took his 1996 Pontiac Bonneville from his residence without permission.
Drugs: After stopping a motorist near March and Overbrook avenues for driving erratically, police found a suspected marijuana pipe on the passenger-side seat.
Oct. 3
Arrests: After responding to a report of a juvenile party at the Tally Ho-tel, 4249 Belmont Ave., police charged five juveniles, age 14 to 17, with juvenile delinquency. Three 18-year-old McDonald women and a 19-year-old Warren man were charged with alcohol prohibitions under 21. Police say they found 24 cans of beer in the room.
Theft: A man reported a sticker and license plate stolen off his trailer parked in the 1700 block of Wilson Street.
Burglary/recovered property: A Niles woman reported someone broke into her room at the American Inn, 1600 Motor Inn Drive, and stole a credit card and $60. She also reported being told that her 1994 Ford Tempo was stolen and involved in an accident. The vehicle was recovered in Hubbard.
Theft: A man reported a pair of sunglasses stolen from his car at Steve's Towing, 4561 Belmont Ave.
Recovered property: A black revolver was recovered near a driveway to a doctor's office in the 800 block of East Liberty Street.
Theft: Someone took a digital camera, a cellular phone and $10 from a vehicle parked in the 3600 block of Staunton Drive.
Saturday
Arrests: After his vehicle was pulled over on state Route 193, police issued two citations to a Girard man, 56, after they said they found a bag of suspected marijuana in his pants pocket. A Girard woman, 27, was charged with failure to appear in court on a probation violation charge and with possession of drug paraphernalia after officers say a suspected crack pipe fell from her coat sleeve.
Recovered property: A 1989 Plymouth Acclaim stolen in the 4100 block of Belmont Avenue was recovered in Girard.
Vehicle theft: A 1989 Jeep Wagoneer was stolen in the International Automotive parking lot, 4506 Belmont Ave.
Theft: A temporary tag was removed from a car in the 4000 block of Belmont Avenue.
Burglary: Someone kicked in a side door to a residence in the 100 block of Montrose Street and stole a glass vase containing money, an opal necklace pendant and a ring.
Theft: A Youngstown woman reported her purse and $325 stolen while she was in a dressing room area at Creative Boutiques, 3551 Belmont Ave.
Sunday
Assault: A man in the 400 block of Church Hill-Hubbard Road alleged his fianc & eacute;, 43, struck him in the face and neck during an argument at his residence. She said he assaulted her.
Theft: Someone broke into and ransacked a vehicle in the 4100 block of Logan Gate Road before stealing a purse and cellular phone.
Criminal damage: Someone broke a vehicle's vent window, in the 4100 block of Logan Gate Road, before trying to break into the car.
Vandalism: A man reported someone damaged a picnic table and smeared feces on a door to a building in the 4900 block of Belmont Avenue.
Theft: A Girard man reported someone stole his $600 dirt bike from a wooded area near Anderson-Morris Road after it broke down.
Oct. 6
Theft: Thieves removed a table, an office chair and a leather couch from the Belmont Inn, 4255 Belmont Ave.
Theft: A woman discovered her wallet missing from her purse while she was in the 300 block of East Liberty Street.
Assault: A man in the 1700 block of Naylor-Lloyd Road reported a man pretending to be a police officer got out of his vehicle and grabbed his 9-year-old son by the neck as the boy and his brother, 10, walked down Naylor-Lloyd Road.
Theft: A woman in the 2500 block of Tibbetts-Wick Road alleged a man in his early 20s took a silver dollar, 40 half- dollars, an 18-inch gold chain, a wedding band and various pieces of costume jewelry from two rooms in the home.
Tuesday
Arrest: After conducting a traffic stop in the Shell True North parking lot, 3990 Belmont Ave., police arrested a 36-year-old Toledo woman on charges of drug abuse (cocaine), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of dangerous drugs and driving under a suspended license. Officers say they found one gram of suspected cocaine in a medicine bottle and three suspected crack pipe filters in her purse.

Sept. 30
Criminal mischief: Someone used a key to damage a car while it was parked at Diane's Cut Away, 536 W. Liberty St.
Criminal mischief: A vehicle parked at Hubbard High School, 350 Hall Ave., was damaged with a key.
Assault: A woman reported her daughter was assaulted at Hubbard High School.
Oct. 1
Theft: Two people reported having money stolen from them while they were at the Hubbard Community Pool, 250 Hall Ave.
Theft: A woman in the 100 block of Youngstown-Hubbard Road alleged her boyfriend stole a lawnmower.
Criminal damage: A juvenile reportedly shoved a shopping cart into a vehicle parked at Devine's Shop 'n' Save, 529 N. Main St.
Oct. 2
Theft: An employee at Devine's Shop 'n' Save said he caught a Youngstown man shoplifting.
Oct. 3
Burglary: A woman in the 40 block of Cyrus Street reported her residence broken into and her son's Sega game system stolen.
Saturday
Arrest: A Hubbard man was arrested in Brookfield on a warrant charging him with three counts of forgery and three counts of receiving stolen property.
Sunday
Criminal mischief: A woman in the 100 block of Water Street reported three juveniles used shaving cream to write a message on the rear of her garage.
Assault: A Moore Street woman reported her son was beaten up while he was at Michael's Place, 862 N. Main St.
