B & amp;B's Unique Boutiqueto open downtown
YOUNGSTOWN -- B & amp;B's Unique Boutique, a retail shop specializing in handbags, hats, jewelry and other women's clothing accessories, opens Saturday in Suite 200, 18 N. Phelps Street downtown.
Owner Beatrice Holley-Lindsey, a Youngstown native, said the store is named after her and her 15-year-old daughter Britanie Lindsey. The shop features five rooms, each decorated in a different theme, and is modeled after a successful boutique her husband, Howard Lindsey, once operated in San Francisco.
Cole National stocks soar
CLEVELAND -- Cole National Corp.'s stock soared more than 67 percent Wednesday after the company that operates Things Remembered gift stores and outlets for Pearle Vision and Sears Optical announced it received an unsolicited buyout offer.
The distribution center for Things Remembered is in North Jackson.
