Summary of police activity in Canfield and Austintown:
CANFIELD CITY
Oct. 1
Drug Possession: A 19-year-old Boardman woman was arrested for drug possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia on East Main Street during a traffic stop. Police found two plastic bags containing two grams of suspected cocaine and a pipe with suspected marijuana residue in it, as well as one clear plastic bag containing marijuana.
Oct. 3
Burglary: A glass basement window was broken and a screen cut apart during a burglary at a residence in the 200 block of Lisbon Street. Stolen were two televisions, a VCR and two leaded glass windows.
Knife possession: An 18-year-old female student from Campbell at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road, had a knife on her and turned it over to the supervisor, who referred the matter to Canfield police.
Drug abuse/possession: An 18-year-old female Youngstown student from the Mahoning County Joint Vocational School was arrested for drug abuse, obtaining and possessing, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sept. 29
Theft: Police arrested two people in the theft from an auto of an AM-FM compact disc player and personal property from the 60 block of Westchester Avenue.
Theft from auto: An AM-FM compact disc stereo, compact discs and clothing were stolen from a vehicle in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft from Auto: Items were stolen from a truck at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Auto Theft: A 1989 Chevrolet Caprice was stolen from the 1000 block of Laurie Drive.
Theft from auto: A purse was stolen from an auto in the 6000 block of Kirk Road.
Theft from auto: A generator and tools were stolen from two Ohio Edison trucks at Bob Evans, 1038 N. Niles-Canfield Road.
Criminal damage: A section of plastic fence was damaged at Trax Lounge, 4250 New Road.
Burglary: There was no forced entry but property was stolen from the 4000 block of Kirk Road.
Theft: Medication was taken from Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.
Sept. 30
Theft: A computer was stolen by a man and woman from Bits, Bytes and Pieces, 3710 Mahoning Ave.
Oct.1
Theft: Numerous items were stolen and later recovered from Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damage: A vehicle window was damaged in the 5000 block of Mahoning Ave.
Aggravated burglary: Two men were accused of aggravated burglary in the 3000 block of White Beach Lane.
Burglary: A residence was burglarized in the 100 block of North Kimberly Avenue.
Criminal damage: Tires on a vehicle were cut at Wedgewood Center, 1749 South Raccoon Road.
Lost or stolen plates: Eight license plates were reported missing at Austintown Dodge, 5163 Mahoning Ave.
Oct. 2
Auto theft: A vehicle stolen from the residential 500 block of South Raccoon Road was recovered burned by Youngstown police.
Theft from auto: Tools and equipment were stolen from Adams Appliance, 1747 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: A .38 caliber Russian-made handgun was reported stolen from the residential 600 block of Carlin Drive.
Oct. 3
Attempted safecracking: The key was broken off an in-wall safe by an unknown employee at Super 8 Motel, 5280 Seventy-Six Drive.
Drug Offense: A fake prescription was handed in at Rite Aid drug store, 5498 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A boy's bicycle was stolen from the 3000 block of Elmwood Ave.
Theft: A wallet was taken at Wendy's, 27 S. Raccoon Road.
Criminal damage: 70 feet of lawn and shrubs were damaged in the residential 2000 block of Birch Trace Drive.
Criminal damage: A passenger door window was shattered, and there were dents and scratches to a vehicle in the 5000 block of West Webb Road.
Criminal damage: A rock was thrown through a door window in the residential 60 block of Westminster Avenue.
Criminal damage: Lawn damage was reported in the residential 1900 block of Woodland Trace.

Theft: Checks were reported stolen from a residence in the 6100 block of Fairview Road.
Counterfeit: A $20 counterfeit bill was passed at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Oct. 5
Criminal damage: About 100 yards of lawn and sod were damaged at Woodside Elementary, 4105 Elmwood Ave.
Breaking and entering: A 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier was stolen from S & amp;C Auto, 3733 Mahoning Ave.
Theft from auto: A compact disc and sunglasses were taken from the residential 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: $26 in fuel was stolen in a gas drive-off at Country Fair, 1143 N. Niles-Canfield Road.
Assault: A 13-year-old victim was assaulted by one of four people at Save-A-Lot, 1715 S. Raccoon Road.
