More surgery forCavs' Dujuan Wagner
Cavaliers second-year guard Dajuan Wagner will need another operation on his injured right knee and will miss the start of the regular season.
Wagner, who sat out the final 20 games of his rookie season after having surgery on the knee in March, visited orthopedist Dr. James Andrews this week in Birmingham, Ala.
Cavaliers general manager Jim Paxson said Andrews consulted with Cavs physician Dr. Richard Parker, and after reviewing MRI results, they concluded that Wagner needs to have the torn meniscus in his knee repaired immediately.
Paxson said Wagner will have the surgery once some of the swelling subsides in his knee and that it would take place no sooner than the end of this week.
