Beaver Twp. OKs rezoning for businesses
NORTH LIMA -- Beaver Township trustees rezoned two areas of the township Monday, paving the way for two proposed businesses.
Trustees changed the zoning of property at 1811 Western Reserve Road from agricultural to commercial.
The request was made by property owners Frank and Theresa Augustine of 1809 Western Reserve Road, who have proposed establishing a pet grooming business there. The couple told trustees that grooming supplies will be sold on site, but there are no plans to board animals there.
Trustees also agreed to rezone more than nine acres at 2301 West Western Reserve Road from agricultural to commercial at the request of property owner Orville Bieber.
The Bieber family has proposed establishing a banquet facility on the property. Plans call for the facility to seat 300 people.
The township zoning commission recommended both zoning changes after meeting in September.
