XYOUNGSTOWN -- The gazebo at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park provided the setting at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 30 for the wedding of Shannon Elizabeth Moreland, daughter of Beverly Jean Moreland, 3437 Leffingwell Road, Canfield, and Matthew Elwin Beckwith, son of Larry and Becky Beckwith, 657 Cherrington Road, Westerville.
The Rev. John Zimmerman officiated, and a reception followed at the Youngstown Country Club. The couple honeymooned in Hawaii and live at 6957 Spruce Pine Drive, Columbus.
An ivory silk organza gown was worn by the bride. The strapless bodice was trimmed with silk ribbon, and the skirt fell to a chapel train.
Honor attendant was the bride's sister, Jennifer Curtis, and bridesmaids were Erin and Erica Bardin, her cousins; Michelle Beckwith, the groom's sister; and Katie Chrisman. They wore pineapple-colored gowns. Flower girls were Bailey Moreland, the bride's niece, and Megan and Rachael Williams, the groom's cousins.
J.D. Barone was best man, and groomsmen were Terry Adkins, Ed Hastie III, Haris Pratsinakis and Mat Shamis.
The bride is a graduate of Ohio University in Athens with a bachelor's degree in journalism. She is a graphic designer with Buchanan & amp; Associates Advertising in Dublin.
Mr. Beckwith holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from OU and is a sales engineer at TruSecure in Dublin.
