NIKKI SALATAMATTHEW CVETKOVIC
XYOUNGSTOWN -- A reception at Tiffany's Banquet Center in Brookfield followed the Sept. 20 wedding of Nikki Lynne Salata and Matthew Elliott Cvetkovic at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church. The bride is a daughter of Karen Leshinsky-Salata and a niece of Dolly Leshinsky, both of Canfield, who also raised her. Mr. Cvetkovic is a son of Frank and Judy Cvetkovic, Liberty.
The Rev. Richard Lambert officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony, and the couple honeymooned in the Bahamas. They live in Canfield.
The bride's gown of silk chiffon was accented with Swarovski crystals and beading. It featured a detachable cathedral train.
Maid of honor was Stacey Cvetkovich, and matron of honor was Lynn Orr. They wore primrose gowns, as did the bridesmaids, Jessica and Jennifer Lazor, Jamie and Adrienne Cvetkovich, Danielle Criddle and Lisa Young. Flower girl was Katie Drennen.
Best men were Jim Cvetkovic and Mike Cvetkovich. Groomsmen were Kenny Baun, Mike Kermec, John and Jay Drennen, and John and Chuck Leshinsky. Ring bearers were Ryan, Aidan and Max Leshinsky and Alex Swiki.
Mrs. Cvetkovic holds a degree in communications from Youngstown State University.
Her husband graduated with honors from the air traffic control program at Beaver County College of Aviation Science. He holds a control tower operator's license and earned National Weather Service Observer certification from the FAA. He is an observer with the National Weather Service in Akron and is awaiting his control tower facility assignment.
