XCORTLAND -- Melanie Angelika Thomas and James I. Battison were married at 3 p.m. Sept. 6 at St. Robert Church.
The Rev. Carl Kish officiated for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Les Thomas of Cortland and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Battison, also of Cortland.
A reception was held that evening at Candlelite Knolls in Bazetta.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Germany. They are living in Champion.
Jennifer Ende was honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Stacy Thomas and Janie Humphrey. Hannah Thomas was flower girl.
The duties of best man were performed by Shawn Battison, and groomsmen were Tim Hiller and Buzz Griffis.
A graduate of Kent State University Trumbull Campus, Mrs. Battison is a patient-care technician at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.
Her husband is a service technician with United Refractories in Warren.
