Millersville 1, Slippery Rock 0 -- The Rock (1-10) managed to get only two shots on goal in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference game.
Men's golf
Slippery Rock -- was led by Dan Rogers' 80 as it finished seventh of nine teams at the Millersville University fall golf tournament. Charleston won with a score of 218, while the Rock carded 330.
Women's Volleyball
Thiel 3, Grove City 2 -- Grove City captured the first two games but could not hold off a comeback effort by host Thiel in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at Rissell-Beeghly Gymnasia. Springfield High graduate Maggie Marsh had 14 kills for Thiel, which prevailed 27-30, 28-30, 30-27, 31-29, 16-14.
