Three hurt in hit-and-run
YOUNGSTOWN -- A hit-and-run accident on the city's South Side sent three people to the hospital.
The accident occurred around 4 p.m. Saturday on Edwards Street, when a van hit a vehicle.
Rescue crews used the jaws of life to free occupants from the vehicles before they were taken to St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
Names of those injured were not available, and no other details were available Saturday night.
Fire hits Farrell home
FARRELL, Pa. -- Fire officials continue to investigate the cause of a blaze at a Hamilton Street residence. The fire broke out around 2 p.m. Saturday at 606 Hamilton Ave., officials said. There were no injuries, and no damage estimates were immediately available.
