JFK's Clemente in state golf tourney

HARTVILLE -- Colin Clemente of Warren John F. Kennedy was the area's only golfer to qualify for the Division III state tournament.
He fired a 74 (39-35) in the district tournament Wednesday at Seven Hills Country Club as the Eagles placed third with a score of 350.
Gilmour Academy won the team title with 338 points and Lutheran West placed second with 344. Columbiana was fourth with 354.
The top two teams and two individuals qualified for the state tournament.
