Workshop will offer money-saving ideas



SANDY LAKE, Pa. -- A free public workshop about how to lower your energy bill and save money this winter will be presented 6:30 p.m. today at the McKeever Environmental Learning Center, 55 McKeever Lane.
The workshop consists of five 15-minute segments: heating, insulation, windows, lighting and stoves/firewood. It will include:
UA Penn Power representative discussing home energy audits and how to cut your electric bill.
UA Lowe's representative demonstrating sealing around windows and doors and display new energy-efficient products.
UA representative from Stoneboro Fire Company discussing wood stoves and fire safety.
UInformation on Mercer County's Weatherization Program.
