XPOLAND -- Wendi Lee Schnitzer, daughter of Walter and Deborah Schnitzer, 605 Chestnut Lane, Boardman, and Timothy John Rudge, a son of Kenneth and Marilyn Rudge, 3225 Olde Winter Trail, Poland, were married Aug. 30 at Poland United Methodist Church.
The Revs. David Blood and William Rudge officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony, and afterward the couple accepted congratulations during a reception at Das Dutch Village Inn, Columbiana.
The bodice of the bride's strapless gown was elaborately beaded, and the tulle skirt flowed from a dropped waistline into a semicathedral train.
Gowned in lavender were the honor attendants, Kellie Schnitzer and Jennifer Kirby, and the bridesmaids, Amy Belasco, Marlo Boehlke, Susan Heutsche and Tara Rudge. White gowns were worn by the flower girls, Alexis Kirby and Morgan Rudge.
David Sobczak served as best man, and groomsmen were Andy Boehlke, Steve DeGenaro, Tony DeGenaro, Robert Kirby, D.J. Naymick, B.J. Rudge and Kris Sirak. Ring bearer was Jared Rudge.
The bride graduated cum laude from Youngstown State University with a degree in elementary education and summa cum laude with a master's in education.
The groom, a cum laude graduate of YSU with a degree in political science, will graduate in January from the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law in Michigan with his juris doctorate.
The couple have postponed their honeymoon and live in Okemos, Mich.
