The Tigers beat Poland and Columbiana in a quadrangular.
NEW MIDDLETOWN -- Springfield High defeated Poland 15-12, 11-15, 15-8, Wednesday, to post its 12th consecutive win in a quadrangular volleyball match.
Leading the Tigers (17-2) was Carrie Davis with eight points, an ace, 17 kills and eight blocks. Lindsay Johnson added 11 points and 17 kills.
Bridget Hennon had 15 points and three aces, while Megan Mulligan added four points and nine kills for the Bulldogs (16-3).
Springfield 15-15, Columbiana 8-8
Christy Warren led the Tigers with seven points, while Heather Snyder had eight points and an ace and Davis tacked on four points and 10 kills.
For the Clippers (12-7), Kylee Crittenden collected six points and six kills and Cara Hardenbrook had four kills and 11 digs.
Columbiana 15-15,Western Reserve 8-4
Leading Columbiana was Hardenbrook with nine points and six digs. Whitney Goist was in with 25 sets and 17 assists.
Sara Kutsko collected three kills and two blocks, while Leta Lenhart had five assists for the Blue Devils (9-11).
Poland 15-15,Western Reserve 0-1
Steffi Graf led the Bulldogs with 10 points, two aces and four kills, while Doni Muransky had nine points, four aces and five kills.
Mineral Ridge 15-15,Lowellville 4-7
LOWELLVILLE -- Abbey Kaiger had three points, five kills and four blocks to lead the Rams to an Inter-County League win.
Jenna Hinks added seven points, six kills, three blocks, eight assists and two aces for Mineral Ridge (7-8, 4-5).
For Lowellville (5-10, 1-7), Christa Flora had eight kills, one block and 12 digs, and Rebecca Sturgess two kills, one block, eight digs and three points.
Hubbard 15-15, Newton Falls 1-5
NEWTON FALLS -- Felicia Resatar had 11 points, Diana Conzett had 11 kills and Traci Hassell collected three aces for the Eagles (14-3, 10-2 Trumbull Athletic Conference).
Mindy Thomas had three points and an ace, while Molly Lenarcic had two kills and two blocks for the Tigers (3-10, 2-9).
Lakeview 15-15, Girard 13-6
GIRARD -- Whitney Keyser had eight kills and seven digs as the Bulldogs (18-1, 11-0) remained unbeaten in the TAC.
Megan Taylor contributed eight kills and Grace Brilmeyer 12 points and four aces for Lakeview.
Erin Stevens (eight points, three aces, 16 assists) and Courtney Madden (10 kills, four digs) led Girard (11-8, 7-4).
Liberty 15-5-15,Champion 12-15-10
LIBERTY -- Mary Massaro had 10 points and 19 assists as the Leopards defeated Champion in the TAC.
Kelly Meyer (17 assists), Sunny Smallwood (11 kills) and Chenelle Mills (11 digs, two blocks) contributed for Liberty (9-10, 5-6).
For Champion (9-7, 4-7), Andrea Armintrout had nine points and Lindsay Templeton 14 kills and four blocks.
Brookfield 15-15, LaBrae 4-9
LEAVITTSBURG -- Rachel Pasquerilla had 13 points and 21 assists in the Warriors' TAC victory.
Laura Klouse added eight kills and four blocks and Jessica Zebroski two aces and 15 digs for Brookfield (10-5, 6-5).
For LaBrae (2-17, 1-10), Maddie D'Orio had 16 kills, six blocks and 11 digs.
Lordstown 15-15, Chaney 5-6
LORDSTOWN -- Alycia Israel had 11 points and Christa Israel had five points for the Red Devils (18-2).
South Range 14-15-15,Lordstown 16-9-13
LORDSTOWN -- Jodi James came up with 12 points and 13 kills, while Kelly Skrinyer had 17 assists for the Raiders (12-4).
Emily Rech led Lordstown with 10 points.
