Rulli Bros. plans to opennew store on South Ave.
BOARDMAN -- Rulli Bros. Austintown is starting construction of a new grocery store on South Avenue in Boardman.
The store near Maple Avenue is expected to be open next summer and will be of similar size to the company's Austintown store, which is 50,000 square feet, said Michael Rulli, company vice president and son of owner Frank Rulli.
He said the opening is connected to the recent closing of another Rulli Bros. store on South Avenue but said he didn't want to comment on the closing. That store was part of a separate company operated by a family member.
He said the new store will be similar to the Austintown store. The location was selected because of the recent expansion of South Avenue in that area from two lanes to five lanes, he said.

BOARDMAN -- Broadband Hospitality has signed an agreement to provide high-speed Internet access to the Mountain View Inn, a full-service hotel with 89 rooms in Greensburg, Pa.
Mark Conte, general manager of the Mountain View Inn, said the hotel had to charge guests about $10 for the service under a previous provider. The agreement with Boardman-based Broadband Hospitality will allow the service to be free, he said.
