Family dinner held to honor Robinette 50th



XBOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. William H. Robinette of Boardman were honored during a dinner Sept. 26 at Ezio's Italian Restaurant in Poland for the celebration of their golden wedding anniversary.
The event was hosted by the honorees' son, Robin Robinette of Boardman, and their daughter and son-in-law, Niralynn and David Bullen of Kingsland, Ga.
The former Nira Black and Mr. Robinette were married Sept. 18, 1953.
Mrs. Robinette, a graduate of Kent State University, taught elementary school for several years. She retired from Youngstown State University, where she was a secretary in the Department of Mathematical and Computer Sciences.
Mr. Robinette graduated from Ohio University in Athens and also earned a master's degree at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. He taught at Poland Seminary High School and also taught associate degree classes at colleges and universities in the tri-state area. He retired from the Youngstown Board of Education maintenance department. Mr. Robinette is active in a number of social, fraternal, church and civic organizations.
The family circle includes one granddaughter.
