XCAMPBELL -- Eleni Maillis, daughter of George and Susan Maillis, all of 327 Porter Ave., and John J. Vanca, son of Jack and Marlene Vanca, all of 701 Sanderson Ave., exchanged marriage vows during two ceremonies Aug. 30. The Rev. Michael Swierz presided at 1 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Church, and Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church provided the setting at 3:30 p.m. as the Rev. Alex Gousettes officiated.
The couple were honored during a reception at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church hall, Youngstown, then left for a honeymoon in Aruba. They live in Campbell.
Mrs. Vanca is employed as an administrative assistant at Americoat Painting Co. She attended Youngstown State University.
A graduate of YSU with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Mr. Vanca is a chemical analyst with First Energy, Shippingport, Pa.
A beaded bodice detailed the bride's strapless gown styled with a cathedral train.
Sylvia Maillis was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Kitsa Koullianos, Kim Orlovsky, Jennifer Meyers, Tracy Merrell, Amy Sebest, Roxan Sebest and Antigone Kokkinos. They wore red dresses. Flower girls were Trisha Ginnis, Aiden Orlovsky and Mary VanSuch.
Best man was Joel Cohn. Groomsmen were Nick Maillis, Ray Orlovsky, Nick Ginnis, Nick Samonas, Jason Sebest, Jarrod Vrabel and Andy Snovak. Crown bearer was Michael Maillis and ring bearer, Jacob Sebest.
Koumbari were Patty Ginnis and Rena VanSuch.
