CAVALIERS James concentrates on outside shooting

Coach Silas says his rookie has been humble, yet confident.
CLEVELAND (AP) -- LeBron James took a shot from half court at the end of Wednesday's practice.
Swish.
"You never know when you're going to have shots like that," James said smiling.
However, not all of the 18-year-old's shots hit the mark in his second practice as a professional.
James and Darius Miles, who has pledged to improve his 3-point shooting, missed their share of shots from beyond the arc during drills Wednesday.
James acknowledged being a bit winded and stiff after practice, but said he expects to be in shape in about a week.
"Mostly what I'm working on is getting my jump shot perfected," James said.
"I think I was a great shooter last year in high school," he said. "But I know that I have to expand my game."
Coach's assessment
Coach Paul Silas expressed his approval of James' performance through two days of practice, saying the No. 1 overall draft pick has been humble, yet confident.
"He's doing everything right now -- shooting the ball well, when we need a basket he's taking it upon himself to make it happen," Silas said. "In five-on-five today, he was very impressive."
James kept the end of practice light on Wednesday, cracking jokes and drawing laughter from his teammates.
He offered encouragement when his teammates missed some shots during outside shooting drills and praised them when they hit them.
"Let's go boy!" he said to guard J.R. Bremer between shots. When Bremer made several in a row, James said, "Yes sirrrrrrr!"
James said after practice that he feels like he already knows his young teammates well from summer league. Veterans were scheduled to report to camp today.
Injuries
Guard Dajuan Wagner, who tore cartilage in his right knee last season and had surgery in March, has some swelling and tendinitis in the knee. Silas said Wagner will be monitored closely.
Forward Ira Newble, who was signed as a free agent during the offseason, injured his right knee during Tuesday's practice and is about a week away from returning, Silas said.
Nearly the entire Cavaliers schedule will be broadcast on television this season -- the most in team history.
The Cavaliers announced 80 of 82 games will be televised, including 14 national broadcasts.
