Bullocks mark 50th event on cruise with family
XLAKE MILTON -- Mr. and Mrs. William J. Bullock, 1198 N.E. River Road, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 10.
The former Dorothy Hinerman and Mr. Bullock exchanged marriage vows that day in 1953 at Hubbard Methodist Church.
The couple celebrated the golden event on cruise in June to the eastern Caribbean. They were joined by their children and spouses, Marilyn and Greg Stepuk of Boardman; Jim and Cindy Bullock and Glenn and Lori Bullock, all of Hubbard; Don and Carole Bullock of Houston; and Chuck and Amy Bullock of Naples, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. Bullock lived in Hubbard for 42 years before moving to Lake Milton in 1996. They are members of Masury Methodist Church and are members of the choir.
Retiring in 1991 from Wean United, formerly McKay Machine, in Austintown, Mr. Bullock was a numerical control programmer. During the Korean War, he served two years in Germany with the U.S. Army's 26th Infantry Regiment.
Mrs. Bullock was a bus driver for the Hubbard School System for 25 years and served as an organist at Hubbard and Masury Methodist churches.
The family circle includes 12 grandchildren.
