Jane Kempe Midgley, left, rehearses her role in "The Frog Prince," a play written by local author Patricia Fagan. Above, James McClellan practices for his role in the show. Both were working Wednesday at the Students Motivated by the Arts Center in downtown Youngstown, which marked the first public use of the facility. The play will be put on by the Magic Carpet Theatre, which is a youth theater component of the Oakland Center for the Arts and part of the Adler Arts Academy. Magic Carpet will perform the play, designed for children in grades K-3, at schools, libraries and private luncheons.
